9th Annual Alternative Investment Conference
is presented by:

December 1-3, 2009
Queen's Landing, Niagara-on-the-Lake
The Alternative Investment Conference gathers together Canada’s leading innovators and practitioners in the area of alternative investments to share their views, practices and theories on this increasingly important investment area. Taking part in this exclusive think-tank on alternative investment strategies are Canada’s senior pension plan decision-makers, practitioners and academics. Key topics discussed will relate to the theme of this year's event, Alternatives Then and Now. How have alternatives done in the wake of the financial crisis? How will their role change in the future?
Canadian Investment Review is Canada's leading forum for academics, institutional investors and industry practitioners to exchange ideas on the capital markets, investment and economic theory, and the related sociology and demographics. The magazine publishes articles that offer original ideas based on existing literature and brings new insight to relevant themes and practices within the institutional investment community.
CIR hosts two other conferences. The annual Global Investment Conference that just passed in April and the annual Risk Management Conference in August.
