Our Financial Conferences

Our financial conferences are attended by senior pension fund officers, brokers, insurers, academics, money managers and other influential members of the institutional investment community. The findings of these conferences are then published in a special report in Benefits Canada.

Catherine manages the group’s portfolio of events in addition to developing new conferences and events. The editorial success of Rogers’ conference properties are Catherine Lummack’s responsibility and include developing relevant and timely agendas in addition to recruiting expert speaker faculties that are both engaging and  informative.
Catherine has a diverse background, which includes five years working in the oil and gas conference industry and holds a Master’s degree.  



Laurie AsuncionLaurie Asuncion, Editor, Conferences and Online Events  

Laurie is the editor of conferences and online events with Rogers Publishing Financial Services Group. She leads the development of content and recruitment of engaging speakers for the Benefits Canada, Canadian Investment Review (CIR) and Canadian Insurance conferences and is editor of CIR Online Debates. Laurie is responsible for managing the conference websites and the execution of live webinars. Prior to recently joining the Business and Professional Publishing Group, Laurie was involved in working on various corporate events, including selling a number of conference products within multiple industries and organizing scientific meetings throughout Australia. Laurie has an Honours B.Comm. from McMaster University.



Melissa Archer, Manager, National Events (416) 764-3865

Melissa is the National Events Manager for Business and Professional Publishing Events Department, which includes: Advisors Edge, Benefits Canada, Canadian Investment Review, Canadian Printer, CARD, Custom Publishing and MARKETING Magazine. In addition to her strong attention to detail and project management skills, she holds a degree in marketing communications and advertising media. Melissa's responsibilities include overseeing the management of all logistics for more than 25 conferences, events, and awards programs annually. Melissa has been with Rogers nearly 9 years.
